Calibex Ltd provides freight and logistics coordination, commodity trading, import/export facilitation, supply chain management, warehousing, and trade finance consulting. The specific scope, deliverables, and fees for each engagement are agreed in writing prior to commencement.

3. Quotations and Pricing

All quotations provided by Calibex Ltd are valid for 7 days unless stated otherwise. Prices are subject to change based on fluctuating freight rates, fuel surcharges, customs duties, and currency movements. Confirmed orders are binding on both parties once accepted in writing.

4. Payment Terms

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due within 30 days of invoice date. We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue invoices at 8% above the Bank of England base rate, in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

5. Client Obligations

• Provide accurate and complete information required for service delivery
• Ensure all goods tendered for shipment comply with applicable laws and regulations
• Obtain all necessary export licences and permits
• Notify Calibex Ltd promptly of any changes that may affect the service
• Pay all agreed fees and charges on time

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Calibex Ltd's total liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with our services shall not exceed the fees paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special losses, including lost profits or business interruption.

7. Force Majeure

Calibex Ltd shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, strikes, port closures, government actions, pandemics, or extreme weather events.

8. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep confidential any proprietary or sensitive information disclosed in the course of the business relationship. This obligation survives termination of the engagement for a period of 3 years.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Calibex Ltd website — including text, graphics, logos, and design — is owned by or licensed to Calibex Ltd and protected by UK copyright law. You may not reproduce or distribute any content without prior written permission.

10. Website Use

Our website is provided for informational purposes. We make no warranties that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. You agree not to use it for any unlawful purpose or in a way that could damage, disable, or impair the site.

These Terms and any disputes arising from them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Both parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
